The EU announced a relaxation in the poof of origin requirments for Textiles and clothing products
The legislation has been repealed (Council Regulation (EU) No. 955/2011). From 24 October 2011, there will no longer be a specific requirement for documentary proof of origin of imports of textiles and clothing into the EU.
However the requirment for preference certificates where applicable still remains.
